A delegation of the federal government led by the Chief Speaker of the Ethiopian People’s House of Representatives, Tagese Chafo and Ambassador Redwan Hussain arrived in Mekele earlier today.
The delegate, ??which has more than 50 members, included the heads of the federal government and diplomats, and they were welcomed by senior government officials and religious leaders of the Tigray government.
It is stated that the visit, which is said to take forward the peace agreement reached between the government of Tigray and the federal government, can be a great way to open the deliberately closed basic services in Tigray. In addition to Mr. Tagese Chafo, Ambassador Redwan Hussain, Dr. Gideon Timotewas, CEO of Ethio Telecom – Frahiwet Tamuru, heads of banks, diplomats and several ministries are included in the delegation.
